Aislinn Verma

Aislinn loves helping students from all walks of life better themselves academically and personally. She worked hard on the SAT and wants to share her experiences to help students achieve the best score they can.

Her intellectual gifts were readily apparent when she attended John P. Stevens High School in Edison, New Jersey. While there, she received the “AP Scholar with Distinction” and “National AP Scholar” awards from the College Board for her AP test performance.

She’s currently a sophomore at the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business, where she’s pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

Her cumulative grade point average is 3.83. On her taking of the SAT, Aislinn received a very impressive overall score of 1560!

She was selected to be a part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Honors College. She was also awarded the President’s Scholarship, which will give her $48,000 towards tuition costs over four years.

In March of 2020, her team placed third at the Morgan Stanley Stock Pitch Competition.

Another program she was selected for was the Women in Finance Mentorship Program, which connects female students and alumni working in investment banking, sales and trading, asset management, and equity research.

Aislinn is available for tutoring for the SAT examination.

How She Ensures Your SAT Success

Aislinn is committed to academic excellence. To that end, she’s taken a whole bunch of SAT practice tests. On the actual SAT, she got 790 in math, and 770 in English.

She was able to do this with only two months of preparation despite English not being her first language!

Aislinn will help her students increase their SAT scores by consistently supplying them with practice tests. After taking a test, she’ll give them ample opportunity to get every single one of their questions answered.

She will also ask questions to make sure they understand the material.

Her Tutoring Philosophy

Aislinn has always believed that the real problem faced by students who fail to achieve the SAT score they want isn’t a lack of motivation. It’s failing to have someone in their life who can help them create successful experiences.

She has a conviction that motivation exists in a dormant state and just needs to be activated.

She believes the best way to activate it is to have a coach who helps you succeed with something at which you previously failed. Success begets success. Once you taste its delectable joys, your motivation will spontaneously arise from a deep place inside you.

She wants her students to see her as someone they can lean on for support instead of just a teacher. If students have a robust support system in place, they’ll perform so much better on exam day.

Aislinn is committed to your academic success. This is success goes way beyond mere test-taking. Smart Minds Tutoring will not only give you the means to achieve the SAT score of your dreams—but it will also allow you to expand your educational horizons in unimaginable directions.
