For his entire academic career, he’s despised boring teachers. He’ll ensure that the time that he spends with you is as enjoyable as possible while still keeping it productive.
Jacky believes that students shouldn’t look at studying as a tedious chore. The moment that learning becomes a thorn in the student’s side is when the student heads down a path of misery.
Jacky focuses much more on the student than on their results. He firmly believes that test scores are only secondary compared to the importance of a healthy growth mindset within students. Anyone can achieve success as long as they maintain a focus of improvement and continue facing forward.
Jacky believes that confidence is key to any success story. Those who go into a testing room feeling nervous and unprepared are more often than not the ones who are most disappointed by their scores.
He believes strongly in the importance of a work-play balance. He understands it’s incredibly hard for teenagers to strike the right amount of work in their schedule. He knows that with proper organization and habits, you can achieve any academic goal with plenty of time to spare for recreation.
He makes sure there’s no sense of disconnection between teacher and student. When Jacky tutors you, he’ll leave the traditional relationship of a teacher-student at the door.
Jacky has the expertise and experience to help you boost your SAT scores like never before. In high school, he tutored three students after school and was able to significantly boost their grades.
To prepare for the SAT, he enrolled in an incredibly rigorous summer academy where he spent three days each week taking SAT practice tests. Through his experiences at the Academy, he stood out as one of the top students. He consistently achieved scores of 1550 and even received a perfect 1600 once.
He took the actual test twice. In October of 2019, he scored an impressive 1580.
Jacky has developed a host of strategies, tips, and tricks he’s used to score well on the SAT. Not everything will work for everyone. That’s why he’ll study your learning style so he can individualize your experience.
The first step to achieving is believing. So, he’ll help you build the confidence you’ll need to get the score you desire.
